Happy New Year!
Thank you, everyone, for all you did for Scouting in 2020. Even with the challenges we faced this past year, we brought our exceptional program to 3,521 Scouts and their families.
I would like to recognize a couple of outstanding volunteers that have stepped down as long-time District Chairmen: Robert Keiser in Badlands and Kevin Oster in Shortgrass District. Thank you for your wonderful service!
Now it is time to focus on the future. I look forward to growing Scouting this year. Let’s GROW in 2021.

We have an incredible program to offer and the opportunity to change a child’s life. Let’s be sure we continue to provide a quality program for all our Scouts.
As part of that process, the Montana Council will once again operate a fun, fantastic and safe program at our beautiful, state-of-the-art K-M Scout Ranch. Since we are not having summer camp at Melita Island this summer, or if you cannot travel out of state, this is an amazing opportunity to attend a one-of-a-kind camp at K-M. At this time, the council does plan to operate a summer camp at Melita Island in 2022.
Let’s work hard to keep our Scouts in the program as we go through the restarting process. Every youth deserves a chance to be a scout.
