The Nu-Ooh-Ska District is Blackfoot for “Three Counties.” The three counties within the Nu-Ooh-Ska District include Toole County, Glacier County and Pondera County. The county seat of Toole County is Shelby, and is the right along Interstate 15, and is the center of the District’s monthly committee meeting, commissioner meeting and roundtables. The Nu-Ooh-Ska District includes the Indian Reservation of the Blackfoot and runs right up to the beautiful Rocky Mountains including Glacier National Park. The Nu-Ooh-Ska District is a rural district with 192 youth, which include five Cub Scout Packs, seven Boy Scout Troops and one Explorer Post.
